Harry Flaherty

Harry Flaherty, a New Jersey native, is currently a motivational speaker.  In 1995, Harry became the New Jersey/New York City State Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Harry reaches out to hundreds of student-athletes and coaches at local campus “Huddles” and at the FCA Summer Sports & Leadership Camps.

Previously, Harry served for seven years with Sports World Ministries, Inc. During that time, he had the opportunity to speak at 1,600 high schools in 36 states throughout the country.

Harry attended Red Bank Catholic High School (Red Bank, NJ) where he received All-State Honors in football and baseball. In April, 2000 Harry was inducted into the Red Bank Catholic Hall of Fame.

Harry earned a four-year football scholarship to Holy Cross College (Worcester, MA) and graduated with a B.A. degree in 1984. Harry is the all-time leading tackler at Holy Cross College. He was a two-time AP All-American linebacker and was inducted into the Holy Cross Hall of Fame in 1995.

Harry played professional football in the USFL with the Tampa Bay Bandits & Baltimore Stars and in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles & Dallas Cowboys.
